Hacker Class[edit | edit source]

While other Classes can operate many computer systems, the Hacker is the only class that can interface directly with Matrix Hosts, making them a valuable squad member to bring along for many heists in order to disable Security devices and earn a bigger payday from downloading Files, Accounts, and Blueprints. Their Talents primarily focus on buffs to their Matrix avatar’s abilities, allowing them to cut through Matrix security more quickly and with less risk.

They have a few good Stealth talents, allowing them to disable body timers, manipulate Security AI commands, and directly disable Security Devices. Hackers also have a small array of anti-drone Talents. However, they have no Talents that directly benefit open combat with human Guards

Overclock 1 5 0 Matrix AP Buff your matrix avatar with +10 Matrix AP, +60/qpbs IO Speed and Damage Connection -3% until end of next Turn.
Zero Interrupt 1 5 10 Matrix AP Debuff all IC in local node with Lagged (temporarily Disabled) until end of next Turn.
Null Op 1 4 10 Matrix AP Remove 45-60 HP from every IC in the node.
Packet Loss 1 4 1 Disable a Level 1 Security Device within 25m until end of next Turn. Target a disabled device to further delay its re-activation.
Downed Shields 1 4 1 Debuff an enemy drone within 25m with +10% Crit Vulnerability, -10% Kinetic Armor and -10% Ballistic Armor until end of next Turn.
Faked Vitals 1 5 2 Faked and garbled signals cancel the Body Timer on a dead enemy within 6m. No one will come looking for this lost agent but the body may still be discovered.
Rampage 1 4 0 Matrix AP When destroying an IC, instantly gain +15% Matrix Dmg for remainder of the Turn.
Prank 1 4 1 Debuff an enemy within 25m; this enemy will be picked the next time the Sec AI dispatches an agent to investigate an event. Lasts for next 5 Turns. Cannot target enemies already in combat, VIP, Drones or Head Hunters.
Spoof 1 5 10 Matrix AP Buff your matrix avatar with 1 Spoof token which blocks Q-Sec AI from taking action during a Q-Sec Escalation. Buff expires if all Tokens are used or after 5 Turns.
Upchain 1 4 0 Whenever your team kills an enemy drone, immediately debuff drones within 25m with -5 Initiative and -2 Action Points until end of next Turn.
Flash Hack 1 5 0 When attacked by a drone, immediately debuff drone with Stunned (skips Turn), -25% All Ranged Accuracy and -6 Initiative until end of next Turn.
RIPR Compression 1 5 10 Matrix AP Immediately frees 25% of Cyberdeck IO max and Damage Connection -5%.
