While other classes can operate many computer systems, the hacker is the only class that can interface with matrix terminals, making them a valuable squad member to bring along for many heists - if you can keep them alive. Their talents include many buffs to their matrix avatar’s abilities, but they can also assist in avoiding some security outside the matrix, or become a powerful counter-drone combatant.

A code slinger who lives and dies in a world of glittering lights and datastreams, the Hacker leads the assault in the digital landscape. Uniquely positioned to jack in to the enemy's matrix -- from lowly utility terminals to looming quantum mainframes -- the Hacker can spike an enemy system to take control of security, doors and download valuable paydata.

Back in the gray, boring real world, the Hacker has some talents to help their squad with disabling security and debuffing drones, but the majority of their talents expand their capabilities in the Matrix. Hackers are vulnerable to enemies while jacked in, so make sure the rest of your squad can keep them safe.
