Counter-Intel Pod[edit | edit source]

The Counter-Intel Pod is a room you can build in your Safehouse. It utilizes a wide array of ghost signals and electronic chaff to provide a temporary veil of secrecy for the team’s activities. As your digital footprint is obscured, you're better able to strike targets when you choose, without fear of ambush. If your team is being haunted by the specter of Head Hunters, the Counter-Intel Pod can temporarily provide cover and allow you to avoid them.

The Tokens granted by the Counter-Intel Pod can reduce Heat, create loot-heavy Hacking Missions (level 2+), temporarily block Head Hunters (level 3+) or trade for Favors with Contacts (level 4+).

Counter-Intel Tokens[edit | edit source]

The Counter-Intel Pod generates tokens that can be redeemed for intelligence operations. The level of the Counter-Intel Pod determines the level of the token. The following benefits can be purchased with Counter-Intel Tokens:

Blow Off Heat[edit | edit source]

Immediately reduce the team's Heat. Prolonged campaign of misinformation redirects the heat in the underworld toward other targets. Minimum Heat is 0.

  • Level 1: -15 Heat
  • Level 2: -25 Heat
  • Level 3: -40 Heat
  • Level 4: -45 Heat
  • Level 5: -50 Heat
  • Level 6: -60 Heat

Find Hack Mission[edit | edit source]

Create a new job to hack a corporate host for paydata. Deep scans of the corporate quantum signals locate a weakspot in their network, ready for a hacker to raid it. Requires a level 2 token.

Head Hunter Interference[edit | edit source]

Block Head Hunters from interrupting our heists for 3 to 5 Days. Prolonged campaign of misinformation and leaked deepfakes throws Head Hunters off your trail. Requires a level 3 token.

  • Level 3: block for 5 days
  • Level 4: block for 6 days
  • Level 5: block for 7 days

Trade Tokens for Favor[edit | edit source]

Trade Tokens to Contacts for Favors. Exchange counter-intelligence data for favors to corporate Contacts. Requires a level 4 token.
