Experience points (XP) are added for each mercenary who participates in a Mission or Legwork, at the end of the event.
The XP award for a job is a flat value based on whether you fulfilled your objectives or not. Some secondary Objectives will offer an XP bonus, but that will be clearly listed (e.g. "do X and get 15% bonus XP") and will show up as a separate line item under the XP total.
Currently Legwork gives a fixed 5% of the XP needed to get to next level (if Lvl 5 requires 1000 XP, legwork gives 50). This may be changed as the game progresses through Early Access.
The following tables show how many XP are required for each level. The Cyber Knight uses a different table in the game from the other mercenaries, but currently the level break points are the same in both tables. Note that after Lvl9, the levels which grant 2 Level Points are multiples of 5.
As if 4/14/2025, the maximum level is Lvl32.
