<Hacker> grew up living and hacking 20 layers of concrete below the Rook towers, but <his/her> quantum heists caught the eye of the megacorp's black-ops talent recruiter anyway. After 10 years slagging for their shadow ops, <Hacker> caught the job <he/she> couldn't complete - covering up an ongoing chemical dumping scandal in Sector 9, too close to home. After walling off the kill switch <he/she> had always known they put in <his/her> head, <Hacker> ghosted them.

<Hacker> is wanted by Rook Tech and has reconnected with an old friend and weapons smuggler, Dusty Diamond.

Backstory

Recruited up from the slums, you spent 10 years working in Jupiter's shadow hacking unit before hitting a morale skid. Unable to cover up a toxic dumping scheme near your home streets, you disappeared on your own terms.

• Trusts: Has established a lasting trust with Dusty Diamond (Gun Runner contact). Dusty helped <Hacker> disappear below the street-level, and the lost friendship from their youth has rebound.
