This page lists the resources provided by Trese Brothers and kept up-to-date automatically by the game's publishing automation.
- Database and Text Locales files - the files are provided by game version and new files are provided automatically after each update is published to Steam. It is worth always trying to work off the most recent files, so keep an eye out for updated versions to work against.
- Unity Example Project - the Unity Example Project is a full ZIP of a project ready to open with the Unity Game Engine . The project will occasionally be updated, and each version is kept in a subfolder. Always use the latest project and upgrade to the latest project as soon as possible.
- To upgrade to the latest project, you may face merge conflicts with files you have changed in the project. It may be best to create a second Unity project using the upgraded version. Then export all of the assets from the project to a custom Unity package. Then import that package into the existing project so you can see on an asset-by-asset basis what has been changed or conflicts and decide if you want to accept all of the changes or need to make some backups of your own changes first.
| Note: It is highly recommend as best practice that you use a version control system for your mod files, allowing you to keep a history of all changes as well as revert any changes that might be a mistake or recover from accidentally deleted files. |
