The Cult of the Final Form is a potential recruit for the mercenary squad.

Backstory[edit | edit source]

You were called to join the Cult of the Final Form by its leader, Xe, and to augment your body constantly with the latest cybernetics and biotech in a quest to achieve the next phase of evolution - the merging of human and machine. After the Arrowhead milsec caught wind of the cult and wiped out, you are the final survivor.

This Warmachine can be recruited through the Underworld Hub. The name is randomly generated.

Starting Attributes[edit | edit source]

These Attributes come from the character Backstory and may be modified by the Starting Traits.

  • Tech: 4

Starting Traits[edit | edit source]

The Warmachine will start with the following Traits:

  • Cyber Adept 1: +2 Will, +2% Built-in Armor and reduce Cybernetic Surgery Stress and Recovery Time by 33% (round down)

Recruitment Dialog allows the player to choose another Trait from the following:

  • Bloodthirsty 1: +1 Strength, +8% Kinetic Dmg and Unless you personally kill 4 enemies during a mission, chance of additional Stress at end of mission
  • Integrated Weapon 1: +1 Tech, +25 Hit Points and +15% Cybernetic Weapon Dmg
  • Secretive 1: +1 Will, +1% Evasion and -1 Move Detection Radius

Tags[edit | edit source]

The Warmachine will start with the following Tags:

  • Faction Barred: Due to bad blood and history, you are incapable of executing Legwork inside Arrowhead Security territory without drawing the wrong kind of attention.
  • Hates Faction: Regardless of the price, you refuse to join any job for Arrowhead Security and revel in any chance to harm their interests.
  • Street Tech: Scrappy, patch-it-together style of tech work.
  • Cyber Obsessed: You have developed a deep obsession with biotech and cybernetic implants.
  • Buried a Team: Things went badly off the rails for your last team and you were the only survivor.
  • Trusts: Has established a lasting trust with <random doctor>.
  • De-Activated Deltaware: In your past, you went under the splicer's knife to implant megacorporate grade deltaware. Now it is deactivated, a metallic deadweight inside you. Maybe someday you can get it re-activated.

The recruitment Dialog has no options for choosing further Tags.

Starting Cybernetic[edit | edit source]

The Warmachine will start with the following Cybernetics:

  • Delta Wire 2: grants Warmachine class, +4 Will, -15% Wound Res, -20% Stress Res, +5% Move Speed, +5% Mitigated Move Speed Penalty, +2 Initiative
  • Hand Razors 2: Attack an enemy within 2m with your Hand Razors 2 at base 72% Accuracy, causing 120 Pure Damage for 1 AP. Critical Hits against a Surprised Target cause additional +100% Critical Dmg. Attacks are guaranteed to at least score a Glancing Hit.
  • Veil Field Generator: Engage Veil Vield Generator to become undetectable (sight, sound) and gain invisibility while stationary (sight) for remainder of the Turn. Immediately reduce HP by 25 on use. Canceled by any movement or attack. Does not trigger Overwatch.
  • ADVX Filter: +1 Strength, +1 Reaction, +1 Will, +40 Hit Pioints, +15% Mitigated Move Speed Penalty

Recruitment Dialog allows the player to choose another Cybernetic from the following:
