Community Challenges are community-driven special sets of rules to play the game under. There is no built-in enforcement mechanism. Screenshots are usually given as "proof" of completing a challenge but as there is no actual reward for finishing one other than bragging rights, no serious verification is done.
Each community challenge runs for approximately one month, but nothing stops players from giving a historical challenge a go any time after the fact. They are a great way to mix up your game play and discover new strategies. Feel free to post about giving old community challenges a try in the CKF Discord community or Steam forums any time.
